
Founder
Jeanie Montiel Parnell is a graduate of Auburn University and served as President of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She began working with incoming freshmen and their families while an undergraduate as a Camp War Eagle counselor for Auburn’s freshman orientation and as a teaching assistant for a university class called The Freshman Year Experience. Jeanie gained valuable experience in public speaking her senior year as a Homecoming Court attendant and received the prestigious honor of being initiated into Auburn’s Cater Society. After college, Jeanie served as Chapter Advisor for the Theta Beta chapter of Alpha Gam at Auburn University Montgomery, where she also received her Masters. Jeanie lives in Montgomery, Alabama, where she is mom to three children — two at home and one at Auburn. She teaches Composition and Literature at Troy University. Jeanie loves to write in her spare time, and she received a second prize in the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award for her book, Fairhope, and was the 2018 SELTI Award winner for her short story, “Tunnel Vision.” Jeanie has a heart for freshmen and loves connecting with people, two passions which led her to founding LYLAS Recruitment Consulting.

Director of Marketing
Maddy Grace Hunter graduated in Public Relations from The University of Alabama and works as a Social Media Specialist in Birmingham, Alabama. She began her sorority experience at Auburn University and is a member of Tri Delta sorority. In 2020, she transferred to The University of Alabama and the Delta Mu chapter of Tri Delta, where she was an active member. Her final year of recruitment, Maddy Grace served as a Sigma Rho Chi Recruitment Counselor on Alabama’s Panhellenic Recruitment Team. Maddy Grace has seen many different sides of the Recruitment process at Alabama’s two largest universities, offering valuable insight for incoming freshmen. Follow her on Instagram @_mghunter.

Management Advisor
Anna Hallmark is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and proudly represents her alma mater as a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Anna received her Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business from Ole Miss in 2023 and currently lives in Dallas, Texas. Having served her chapter diligently over the years, Anna has extensive experience with the recruitment process. Anna cultivated a passion for community involvement and formed lifelong friendships within Kappa Delta, giving her an appreciation of sorority sisterhood in many aspects of her life. During her time in KD, Anna worked on impactful philanthropic initiatives supporting Prevent Child Abuse America and Girl Scouts, and her own community service projects with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause near to her heart. Serving as Tyler Rose Festival Queen 2020-21, Anna had the opportunity to bring the public speaking, community orientated, and service minded skills KD fostered in her to life as an ambassador for her hometown and host to visitors from across the country during the event. Public Relations Advisor
Lauren French is a 2023 graduate of Auburn University with a double major in Biomedical Sciences and Nutritional Science and a minor in French. She is a member of Delta Gamma sorority, where she served as Director of Chapter Purchasing from 2019-2020, VP of Foundation for Delta Gamma from 2020-2021, and President from 2021-2022. As an undergraduate, Lauren served the College of Science and Mathematics as an OIED Ambassador, and with Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society as a Pre-Med Representative and the AED Historian. She was also active in other personal and civic pursuits as the VP of Philanthropy for Cardinal Key Honor Society and as the Director of Member Relations and the Director of Special Events for Students for Clean Water at Auburn University. Lauren has received many awards and honors, including Top 20 Miss Homecoming and the Delta Gamma Model Senior Member Award. She is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Kappa Omicron Nu, and Alpha Epsilon Delta. She served on the Panhellenic Judicial Board, the Student Association of Mentoring, and the Red Cross Club. Lauren is a wealth of knowledge in Recruitment, Panhellenic, and Leadership. She served as a medical assistant for a year in Birmingham and now attends Medical School at Kansas City. Digital Media Specialist
Laurie Wakefield is a 2024 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with minors in Public Relations and Training & Workforce Development. She is a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and Laurie served as both Director of Alumnae Relations and Social Events Director for her chapter. Laurie has extensive experience in the Auburn University Panhellenic Council, the Auburn Student Government Association, and Auburn’s student-led PR agency, The Oaks Agency. Through her roles within the Panhellenic Council as Director of Recruitment Media and Vice President for Public Relations, she has had hands-on experience in overseeing public relations initiatives, managing recruitment media, developing digital content, and created resources like recruitment handbooks, reaching audiences of over 1,500 potential new members. Laurie has been a part of the primary recruitment process from all sides, which provides a unique perspective into how to make the most of your recruitment journey and as a member of a sisterhood.
